During Open Museum Day, we had the pleasure of welcoming a special delegation to the Citadel: the lads from RED & GREEN — the Paracommando Motorcycle Friends!
It was a reunion with their 'old' base and a visit to our Pegasus Museum, where a significant part of their own history has found a home.
💶 A cheque for no less than €1,000 from their club funds!
But that wasn't all. The club also announced a fantastic initiative:
🏁
Legacy Run — 5 July
Open motorbike ride for all bikers. Start at the Pegasus Museum on the Citadel. All proceeds go to the museum.
📍 Registration: 10:00 | Briefing & Start: 11:00
💰 €10 solo / €5 duo
🌐 More info & registration → redandgreen.be
The Pegasus Museum is free to visit and runs entirely on volunteers. Thanks to heart-warming donations like this, we can keep our history alive. Especially in these turbulent times, it is essential to continue telling the story of our past for the future.
Thank you, RED & GREEN! 🏍️
King’s Day: correspondence between the Pegasus Museum and the Royal Palace
In keeping with annual tradition, military personnel and patriotic organisations send a letter to the King on King's Day.
The Pegasus Museum also expresses its respect and loyalty to the Monarch and to Belgium.
The Royal Palace has responded via the King's Military Household to say that this gesture is greatly appreciated.
Left you will find the Palace's reply.
